Power Broker

What this relationship builds on
Both share Control, Punitive, and Justification tendencies and may find common language in order and challenges. The Power Broker uses Strategy to change the terms of judgment; the Arbiter uses Pressure to restrict dissent directly. Similar explanations can conceal a contest over methods.
How they see each other
The Power Broker may think the other draws the line too quickly, leaving no room to keep adjusting the situation.
The Arbiter may think the other's standards keep moving, leaving any action open to a new judgment at any time.
An alliance
While revising a group's charter together, they may quickly identify boundary issues. Cooperation also requires letting members examine those boundaries.
A rivalry
When an old opinion is reclassified as out of bounds, they may blame each other: who allowed it in the first place, and who expanded the restrictions without agreement?
A close bond
The Power Broker leaves room for dissent beside their shared draft. The Arbiter carefully keeps the other's original intact. The sentence that was allowed to remain is read twice.
A turning point
Power Broker deleted record is recovered. Both must face the consequences they helped create; taking responsibility or shifting blame leads the alliance toward opposite endings.
De-escalation & boundaries
Restore the full record, distinguish specific consequences from dissent itself, and pause further demands on the person who spoke.
