Privacy settings

Manage local results and analytics for this browser here. These settings apply only to this browser and do not affect results you have chosen to save to your account.

1. Local calculation and result retention

Individual answers are used only to calculate your result on the current page. They are neither uploaded nor written to persistent storage. Refreshing or closing the page clears unfinished progress. After the first 16 questions, the page temporarily retains answers so you can continue with 32 more. Answers are cleared after all 48 questions are completed.

In the current 16 + 32 question assessment, this browser automatically keeps the latest valid result summary by default. It includes the stage, four-axis readings, information needed for character matching, calculation version and completion time. This local save is never automatically uploaded or synced to an account, whether or not you are signed in.

A local result expires 72 hours (3 days) after completion.Viewing a result again does not extend its lifetime. A new assessment replaces it and starts a new retention period. Expired results are no longer restored and are removed while the page is running or on the next visit. Cleanup cannot run while the website is closed.

Local results work only in the same browser at the same website address. Clearing site data, private browsing, browser restrictions or incompatible version updates may make a result unavailable sooner. You can revisit a saved 16-question result, but its individual answers are no longer available. To add 32 questions, you need to start again.

Other people using a shared device may see a local result. You can clear it before leaving. The earlier standalone 16-question assessment keeps results only within the tab session and does not use the 3-day retention rule.

2. Accounts, saved results and security checks

Registration, sign-in and account saves are optional. You can answer questions and read your results for free without them. When you register, we process your username, password credentials, account identifier and creation time to create, authenticate and manage your account. We currently do not require a phone number, email address, real name, government ID or contacts.

Passwords and recovery codes are stored as hashes that cannot be directly reversed. After sign-in, necessary session cookies keep you signed in. A standard server session lasts 24 hours, or 30 days if you choose to stay signed in, and ends when you sign out or revoke it. A supporting cookie used for guest security checks lasts 1 day.

Only when you choose Save to account and complete the required steps do we save a result summary, display snapshot, assessment stage, version and save time. We do not save individual answers. Each account keeps its latest saved result, which a new save can replace. Account data is kept until you delete the result, delete the account or the relevant service ends, and is then removed under this policy.

To prevent abusive registrations, guessing attempts and duplicate requests, this website provides its own security checks. They process verification actions, short-lived challenge tokens and irreversibly transformed account or network-address identifiers for rate limiting. Temporary records expire and are cleared. These checks do not use a third-party CAPTCHA cloud service.

3. Cookies, local preferences and analytics

This website uses browser storage for the results and privacy preferences described above, and necessary cookies for sessions and security. You can manage local results in the privacy settings on this page, or use your browser settings to manage or clear site storage. Privacy preferences remain until you change them or clear browser data.

Optional usage analytics are off by default and turn on only with your permission.Analytics help us understand page visits, completed assessment stages and actions such as saving or sharing. They do not record usernames, passwords, individual answers or personal results, and are not used for advertising profiles or data sales. Declining or disabling analytics does not affect assessment, sign-in or result saving.

Current analytics are aggregated by date and event. Aggregates are kept for about 90 days, and event deduplication identifiers are cleared after about 1 day. If analytics are enabled on earlier pages, random browser, session and event identifiers record page categories and actions. Those logs rotate monthly, retaining the latest 12 periods. You can remove local random identifiers by clearing this website's browser data.

If Baidu Analytics is enabled separately, we will add specific processing details beforehand and obtain any consent required by law. It may process device, network, cookie and browsing information. See the Baidu privacy policy . This service is currently unconfigured. Its rules do not replace this website's own notice and consent obligations.

4. Sharing, feedback and third-party services

When you share a character or MBTI blend card, its link contains the chosen character or blend, not your account, individual answers or private result record. Recipients open a public character introduction. Recipients may save or forward images, links or text you send, so choose your audience accordingly.

The feedback feature prepares your text, page location and website version on the current page. It writes to the clipboard only when you click Copy and never sends automatically. If you send it using another chat or email service, that service's rules apply.

When you email us, we use your sender address, message and information necessary to handle the request to respond to feedback and privacy inquiries. We keep it only as long as needed. Please do not send passwords, recovery codes or a complete set of answers. Our contact address uses Google's Gmail service, so email may be processed and stored outside China. See the Google privacy policy . The website never automatically sends your assessment or account data through this mailbox. You can also use the self-service controls on this page and in account settings.

The website uses Alibaba Cloud servers for account and website services. We engage infrastructure providers to process information only as needed to provide the service, with responsibilities for processing scope and security to be agreed. We do not sell your information or provide private assessment results to other independent processors. If new disclosures, public releases or cross-border processing become necessary, we will give legally required notice and complete the relevant procedures. This policy is not a substitute for any required consent.

5. Storage and protection

Your browser holds local results; we cannot recover that record from the cloud. Account data and server database backups are stored in Alibaba Cloud's China North 2 (Beijing) region, within mainland China. Contact emails you send are handled under the email service rules above.

We protect information using encrypted transmission, credential hashing, access controls and backups. Account database backups use a 7-day retention window and are cleared by scheduled tasks. Deleting an account or result removes the relevant live database records immediately. Backup copies are cleared as backups rotate and are used only for necessary security and recovery management during that period. Information that must legally be retained has restricted processing during the required period and is deleted or anonymized afterward.

Online services process information needed for network requests, such as IP addresses and request times. Security records are used only for troubleshooting, abuse prevention and legal obligations, not to reconstruct answers or for marketing. Cybersecurity logs subject to legal retention follow the legally required period. If an information-security incident occurs, we will take prompt remedial steps and meet applicable notification and reporting duties.

6. Manage your information

Use thePrivacy settingsabove to turn off automatic local saves, clear existing local results or manage analytics. Clearing local results does not delete results you chose to save to your account. Deleting an account result does not automatically clear local records in other browsers.

Account holders can view or delete saved results, change passwords, update recovery codes, sign out or delete their account in account settings. Account deletion removes the account and its associated identity, credentials, sessions, recovery code and result. Backups are cleared as described above.

You may also exercise applicable rights to access, copy, correct, supplement, delete or restrict processing of personal information, withdraw processing based on consent and request transfer where legal conditions are met. We verify only the information needed for the request and respond promptly. If we cannot comply, we explain why. Withdrawing consent does not affect lawful processing before withdrawal.

7. Protection of minors

Minors should use this service with a guardian's guidance. Our account service is not intended to collect personal information from children under 14. If such information is involved, guardian consent and specific processing rules are required first. If we discover children's information collected without guardian consent, we will promptly verify, delete or take other necessary steps under applicable law. Guardians can contact us through the officially published channels.

8. Updates to this policy

We publish the update date on this page. If processing purposes, methods, information categories or other significant matters change, we will give appropriate notice before the relevant features are used. Where renewed consent is legally required, we will request it. Continued use alone will not replace legally required express consent.
